We know you have questions

Looking for curb appeal, safety or functionality? We've got you covered...

We are dedicated to providing timely, efficient and friendly service. In the meantime, we've answered some commonly asked questions.

  • Do you provide firewood?

We do not provide firewood, but customers can keep as much of the cut-down tree as they wish. For an additional fee, we can cut the trunks into specified lengths for firewood.

  • Do you provide wood chips?

Yes, we provide mixed sized wood chips that may include leaf material. Leaf material breaks down after time, leaving the light color chips that you may be familiar with.

  • How do I know if my tree is diseased?

Identifying a diseased tree involves observing several key signs:

Discoloration: Look for unusual changes in the color of leaves, needles, or bark, such as yellowing, browning, or blackening.

Leaf Drop: Notice if the tree is shedding leaves or needles prematurely or if they appear wilted and unhealthy.

Abnormal Growths: Check for unusual growths like tumors, galls, or fungal fruiting bodies on the bark or branches.

Dead Branches: Identify branches that are bare or appear dead, especially if they are spread throughout the tree.

Cracked or Peeling Bark: Look for areas where the bark is cracked, peeling, or falling off, which can indicate internal issues.

Decay or Soft Spots: Feel for soft, spongy, or decaying areas in the wood, which may indicate rot or fungal infection.

Fungal Growths: Observe for mushrooms or other fungi growing at the base or on the trunk, which can be a sign of internal decay.

Insect Infestation: Watch for signs of insect activity, such as holes in the bark, sawdust, or visible pests, which can contribute to tree health problems.

Unusual Odors: Notice if there are any strange or unpleasant smells coming from the tree, which could indicate decay or rot.

Regular inspections and early detection can help manage and treat tree diseases more effectively.
